  • Need: certified surgical tech with CVOR experience
  • Shift: 6:30am-3:00pm, shifts are 8's with the option of 10's or 12's based on the need of the dept. The contract will be set at 8's.

  • Length of Assignment:13 weeks
  • On Call: Since this is a CVOR Position, they would be on call 50% of the time (14 days/month).
  • Certification is required.

    • Must have: Orthopedic, total joint, XI robotics, Gyn, Urology
    • BLS
    • Typical hiring profile skill set most recruited for
    • Preferred skills: Neuro spine, pediatrics, Cardiothoracic/vascular
      • Schedule Information
      • Shift for the Traveler: could be 8's or 10's starting at 0630 AM
      • On Call Requirements: 4 weeknights and 1-2 weekend days/month
      • Weekend Requirements: on call

        • Dress Code: Scrub Color/Attire - Navy. Provided by the hospital.
        • Unit Guidelines/Policies: Dress code. All jewelry contained in surgical attire. Nothing on fingernails. May wear own cloth cap.
        • Participation in Time Out/huddles
        • Weekends and On call
          • Additional Details
          • Number of Beds - 8 Operating Rooms
          • Number of Staff - Roughly 10 OR RNs and 10 OR CSTs + orderlies, anesthesia tech, etc.
          • Patient Ratios - 1:1
          • Type of equipment - Typical OR equipment, XI Robot, Rosa Robot, Lasers, laparoscopy, etc.
          • EMR - Meditech
          • Best personality fit: Flexible, easy going, experienced/confident, team-supportive, willing to help wherever needed
          • Equal share of general call and trauma call (low utilization). 30-minute response time to the hospital. Typical call requirement: 4 weeknights and 1-2 weekend days/month
