Service - Quality - Knowledge Granite Seed Company is hiring a Seed Sales Specialist for our Lehi, Utah office.The Seed Sales Specialist works in collaboration with the Executive Vice President NativeSeed Group Intermountain to serve customers purchasing native seed and erosion control products from the company.Sales Activities Work up bids and pricing under the guidance of Senior Sales Staff for seed and erosion control materials. Consult with customers and agencies on seed mix designs Over time, take on a book of business as determined by Senior Sales Staff Take customer calls and emails directly as needed and assist with pricing orders and consulting. Support Senior Sales Staff in the development and maintenance of special contracts Assist with developing and implementing competitive bidding procedures Help Senior Sales Staff and the admin team in executing and maintaining efficient order processing procedures Assist the Senior Sales Staff in efforts associated with inventory management Process customer orders and follow through with warehouse manager on any specific needs of the customerMarketing & Business Development Assist Senior Sales Staff in promoting the usage and benefits of native seed the market with key influencers in government agencies and NGOs Help Senior Sales Staff promote the Company's ability to produce unique local ecotype seed Work closely with the Senior Sales Staff to develop a comprehensive marketing program including trade events, speaking engagements, marketing materials, etc.Benefits:As a full time employee, you will be eligible for company benefits after a 60 day introduction period. Strong organizational and interpersonal skills Consummate team player and customer service experience Strong command of Microsoft Office A college degree in restoration science, range science, agronomy or related field is not required, but preferredRequired undergraduate/graduate degrees: Environmental Sciences & Management Ecological Management & Restoration Rangeland Sciences Wildlife Conservation Agronomy Plant Sciences Other related degreeExperience in one or more of the following areas is a plus but not required: Turf Industry (Golf courses, sod farms, Landscaping) Government agencies such as NRCS, BLM, USFS, Fish & Wildlife, etc. Commercial projects such as mine and landfill reclamation, wetlands restoration or wildlife conservationSalary is $60k - $70k + Bonus potential per year, dependent on experienceCompensation details: 60000-70000 Yearly SalaryPI2cc233c9cf35-26289-35879773
